Panel Technician

Chartwell, the UK’s leading Prestige Accident Repair Centre, approved by the World’s leading manufacturers such as Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin are seeking a Panel Technician. The right candidate will have the expertise, diligence and attention-to-detail required for working with the finest cars in the world. Careful execution of work, tidiness and experience with the Structural Repairs and technical information systems are all key attributes of our ideal candidate.

The Chartwell Panel Technician will be able to accurately use body Jigs, be proficient at welding and conduct structural repairs. Ideally hold a recognised qualification or ATA. It would also be an advantage to have strip and refit experience although it is not essential. Chartwell will offer support, advice and regular training activities to develop candidates to the highest level possible.

The type of person we are looking for

  • You will have previous experience as a technician working in a main dealership or accident repair centre for premium vehicle brands.
  • You will be able to take ownership of your role, with diligence and an ability to multitask.
  • You will be able to deliver the highest levels of customer service, while always keeping one eye on the commercial success of the business.
  • You will be able to recognise excellence and have a basic knowledge of the brands Chartwell work with.
  • You will be confident and proficient to operate modern tooling and IT systems

Your role

You will be welcomed into an established team, and you will work with exciting products. A large part of the Panel Technician position involves:

 

  • Preparing vehicles to a high standard.
  • Completing panel replacement, structural repairs and Jig work potentially with some strip and refit work
  • Developing Aluminium Welding and bonding knowledge for the later generation repairs
  • Advising the Bodyshop Advisor of any additional work necessary during the repair process.
  • Working in a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues where necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

The successful candidate for our Panel Technician vacancy will have proven experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills. Previous accident repair experience and an ATA or a recognised qualification would be an advantage, but full training and development will be provided to the right candidate.

M.E.T Technician

M.E.T TECHNICAN

The right candidate will have the expertise, diligence and attention-to-detail required for working with the finest cars in the world. Careful execution of work, tidiness and experience with the latest diagnostic tools and technical information systems are all key attributes of our ideal candidate.

 

The Chartwell M.E.T Technician will be able to accurately strip and refit vehicles, diagnose issues and clearly communicate them to colleagues. Chartwell will offer support, advice, and regular training activities to develop candidates to the highest level possible.

The type of person we are looking for.

  • You will have previous experience as a technician working in a main dealership or accident repair centre for premium vehicle brands.

  • Developing EV awareness and compliance
  • Advising the Bodyshop Advisor of any additional work necessary during the repair process.
  • Working in a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues where necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
